ABOUT THE CHEF
Chef Ross was born and raised in southern Indiana learning his passion for food from his grandmother and cooking shows. He moved to Indianapolis for culinary school in 2010, where he attended the Art Institute of Indianapolis.
After graduation he transitioned into his first chef position at Matt the Millers in Carmel Indiana. Learning as much he could he looked for other opportunities finding experiences ranging from independent restaurants, where he worked with local farm businesses to develop farm to table menus, to large corporate companies including Ruth's Chris Steakhouse.
Through all of my experiences he has put customers first believing that your meal should be more than a plate. It should be an experience that brings people together to create memories.
Ross was a consummate professional throughout the entire experience. A little background, we had arranged for Ross to do a 5 course plated dinner for a party of 8 close friends of ours, and the entire process with Ross was smooth and easy from the get go. Through initial consultations he helped me decide the menu, giving me a bevy of options. He also clearly took in concerns for allergies and potential food preferences. On the actual day of the event, he arrived promptly on time, with all of the materials and foods he needed. He quickly went about entertaining guests with their questions about what he was preparing while still efficiently cooking at the same time, also making sure that he was clean and tidy. The actual dinner itself was not only delicious, but also immaculately presented, with well thought out descriptions of dishes and wine pairings. Our guests as well as myself thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and I would recommend Chef Ross without hesitation for any future events of my own. Another important note, Ross took all the necessary precautions during the COVID-19 pandemic, remaining masked during the entirety which was also in line with excellent professionalism which he displayed.
